heh so many had happened over e past few weeks.. managed to meet up with friends (thou it's all late after work) but it's worth it! and i always feel that time is the most precious thing you can give some1..cz that's what constitutes your life and every r/s requires efforts to maintain.
1) Met up with llz! had a gd night with duck pizza and a good movie! thanks loads llz! thanks for being the anchor in my life, always playing the role of a big sis, checking on me and making sure that everything is gg on well! 2) Kilkenny and stoning contest by the beach!our f/s is a lost and found. jiayou and make ur present so beautiful and not let it turn into a memory. (you know what i mean) and jiayou as you move on to ur new stage of life!
3) Hello Ghost with Fnq! Really really love the show and highly recommend it! it's amazing how our f/s manage to survive over the decade. haha i guess it's all thanks to our "best friend" =] enjoy our once in a while meet up and chatting as thou we were still in 6B. showing each other the diff side and views of opposing genders and giving each other advice. I am thankful for our f/s. =]

This is the final evaluation report from an independant third party point of view of the phenomena of the group known as Forever 5, or for clearer distinction, the 'poorest clique in the whole universe'. As such, I would expect to recieve the total and full payment of absolutely zero dollars for the research compiled and collated in this detailed report and shall hold my silence from here henceforth.
Members of Forever 5 (6 to be honest): Felica Chee aka Fe Fung Yi Chee aka Fungi Giriwan Wong aka Moi Jing Wei Tan aka Jing Wendy Tan aka Wen Offie Tan aka Pikai
Individual evaluations: Felica Chee. Forever polite and will always be. The most matured of the group. Felica comes across as extremely polite, even to Forever 5. If she is the way she is with this group, one can only imagine how polite she is outside. With sports and school taking the bulk of her time, coupled with the tutoring of several students, one can only wonder how she manages her time. To the observer, it is almost mind boggling and he can only wish to have a slice of that ability of time management. Calm, cool headed and with the ability to micro-manage time, Felica has clearly mastered those aspects of her life. It would come as no surprise if she would triumph over other aspects of life in time to come.
Fung Yi Chee. Friendly, funny, thrifty An outgoing personality coupled with friendly persona. Fung Yi thrives on the essense of people. She is friendly and funny, goofy at times although her goofiness will be overshadowed by a later mention. Fungyi comes across as an extremely thrifty person who saves for a rainy day and is always well prepared. There are no two ways when her studies are concerned, and at times been observed to been multi tasking, studying and hanging out all at the same time. Her eye bags are a cause for concern, often showing with her making no efforts to conceal them. Such is the life of a chem student in NUS. Note: She will not hesitate to relieve Offie from Wendy.
Giriwan Wong. The chinese dynasty that she calls home It is scary to note that the observer knows two other cousins of hers. All in SIM. Such is the small world that we call Singapore. Most street smart of the group, Moi is quite the chatterbox when playing mahjong. Moi has a great personality and comes across as very pleasant to engage a conversation with. It is not difficult to get along with her and she has made life comfortable for the observer, especially in the inital few encounters with Forever 5. Somewhat boyish, in all honesty it is quite hard to see her as a lady but she is who she is and I respect her for that. Have I mentioned the museum she calls her room?
Jing Wei Tan. Baby of the group. Always early always wait. Often bullied most of the time, not that she minds. Jing is most at home with Forever 5. With flashes of goofyness, the observer wonders where the real Jing went. It did not take long for the observer to realize that THAT was the real Jing Wei. Although she complains a great deal to Forever 5, there are no quibs between them. Jing being the only early one most of the time has had to suffer the consequences of waiting, and waiting and waiting for Forever 5. Something she has rolled her eyes at most of the time, only to be ignored. One would sympathize with her had she confrom with the clique's habits however her wont to be early still leaves her rolling her eyes while complaining to her boyfriend who is late more than half of the time.
Wendy Tan. Arse_al fan. Sporty with most diciplines of sports under her belt, Wendy is the loudest of the group. Her piercing 'Wa Laus' is her distinct characteristic. She always has the strangest of ideas and has a room that leave even the most ardent of football fans drooling. As an observer, Wen seems to be the force pushing the otherwise stagnant Forever 5. She is the most daring of the lot, most willing to try different things and is considered the luckiest to have Offie Tan by her side 24/7. Her house seems to be place defacto when it comes to hanging out, shabu shabu-ing or MJ-ing. She is the most happy-go-lucky of the 5 and the most soccer crazy. Like seriously.
Offie Tan. Clearance puppy Offie. Full stop. Here lies Inception. A report within a report. The observer will leave that to Fungi or Jing who could easily write a essay befitting for acceptance to a Fullbright scolarship.
Forever Five Likes: Arsenel, Shabu shabu, KOI, Mahjong, Satay Beehoon, Offie. Procastination Dislikes: The other 19 premier league clubs. It is not wise to say anything bad about Arsen_l. Period
Concluding Report as observed by Shem Moo
After over 1.5 years of observation and interaction with the abovementioned subjects, I have come to a conclusion that without a shadow of a doubt, the group deserves and holds proudly title of 'poorest clique in the world' high above their heads. This however, does not accurately reflect the true financial status of every individual within the group. While the spending threshold of the group varies, the group is percived as stringent and thrifty ONLY when together, fully maximising whatever mininal fundings that each is willing to put in. While this behavior holds true for most groups of friends across the board, the dedication and levels this group is willing to go to is an eyeopener for the reader and truly is astounding! The expense that they go to not spend money makes the scrouge looks like Santa Claus!
Every aspect of projected spending is carefully scrutinized and discussed throughly before put into action and more often than not, leads to procastination that eventually tethers off into oblivion and is duely forgotten. A quick look into the chronological history within the past 18 months can atest to that. Without a full clique, the mentioned title becomes false and unconclusive until the point of report. Since the my induction into the group, this clique has never had a full attendance when dining in places other than a hawker centre locally. (East Coast Food Corner being the only recorded location and Thailand not included).
To help explain in detail the economical poweress of the group, I shall bring to attention the favorite activity of Forever 5, the Shabu Shabu dinner. A typical dinner together when without the help of Wendy's mom usually consist of the Shabu Shabu themed hotpot dinner with a mish mash of cubes of chicken stock, the mandatory chicken franks and slices of pork belly and other various ingredients. All of which the total cost of the dinner should come to no surprise at not more than $7 per person. Surpringsly through the invitation of dining with Forever 5, I have found and learnt that it is an extremely fun and cohesive way to dine, not to mentioned the economical 'lightness' on the wallet. Having been a convert of the DIY Shabu shabu hotpot, I have always looked forward to future hotpot sessions.
Generally movies have always been considered as a healthy group activity yet Forever 5 has never caught a film at the movie theatre together, within the last 18 months at least. Strangely they however will not hesitate to come together to watch another form of 'movie' that consists of another type of film stars whose names come attached with numbers with an astoundingly vile looking logo sew onto bright red and white jersys. Some of their names include Farbagas and Ven Percee.(Author's note: The true and correct spelling of names is considered blasphemy and is considered a serious infringement to the validity of this report). This phenomena is best left as another story for another time. The two examples serves poorly as evidence to show how economically effective Forever 5 are as a group.
While this might be viewed as a negative construct by others, it has however lead me to belive that the group has a depth of cohesion second to none. The name Forever 5 which the group derives from is both befitting and is as genuine as it gets. With basketball as their common denominator and their roots stemming from primary school till date, this report simply fails to show how deep the bonds go. With a decade long friendship growing strong, it is without doubt that it will contiune to grow and grow it will. This group like any other have had it fair share of ups and downs, yet they will continue to ride the banana boat of life together as Forever 5, each member of the group somehow a reflection of the other four. Although as an observer, it is not difficult to see the true and unabashed characters of this group of friends when they are together.
If there would be a story out of this report, it will be told in a form of two liquids of contrasting properties. Oil and water. Chemical bonds and molecular structure aside, if you were to place 5 seperate oil droplets into a bowl of water, given time and without any external force (in a form of blowing or shaking the bowl), these oil droplets will magically pool together and form into a large oil 'puddle'. This puddle is now nearly impossible to seperate completely, sure one can easily swirl the bowl and break up that puddle into small droplets, but no matter how far apart the droplets may be seperated, at the end of the day, the original oil puddle just forms back. And if troubles and difficults of life are figuritively a flame of fire, it could boil the entire bowl causing the water will evaporate but yet the oil still stays. The solidarity of the oil is all but a poor analogy of how tight Forever 5 is, but if I, the casual observer could be an oil droplet too, what an honor that would NOT be.

Wakeboarding! 8/2/2011 fe tried what she thought she could not. Wakeboarding. e fear for water n e sea. jus heck and go. n seriously life jacket is one of the greatest invention. without it, i doubt i will be able to ever try this water sport. Thanks loads to wen, jing, fungi and shem too! Thanks for encouraging me throughout all the tries! Will never forget how i struggled when i did my 1st "superman" face down fall into e water. it's really scary. like i m gg to die anytime. i was jus praying hard tt they would quickly come back and save me. the amount of seawater tt i drank is..haha enough to fill a bottle ba. but when u finally manage to do it, it's happiness. n the fear jus disappear with each try. it makes me feel like 跌倒了，不要怕。再站起来就行了！=] n the sceneries were beautiful. 静静的海，知心的好友，凉风轻轻的吹，从中午至日落。 好美好美。 躺在海面上等她们回来救我时，看着黄昏，真的蛮舒服的。 失败不可怕。 只要你愿意再次尝试就一定会成功。=] really enjoyed myself. the feeling of trying and failing and trying once again. the encouragements tt ur best friends give you time and again is priceless. n i conclude..we treat each other e best when we are in danger =] love ytr! went to ikea (moi joined us) and 6 of us ate loads after tt as sunset grill is closed. we ate like mad. seriously. so super fat now. n i decided tt its time i lose weight. haha went home n immediately k.o-ed at 10plus pm. super tired. a nice nice day! n becoz of all these frequent meet ups with forever5.. i tink i will really miss fungi in the 6months. although she want to push me into e sea! hahaha
n jus some random thoughts.. things always happen for a reason. i enjoyed myself ytr n it felt like regaining freedom after so long. doing things out of my comfort zone. jumping into danger zone. trying new things. n i wanna start planning for my life. =] 11 things to do in 2011. wakeboarding down. 10 more to go! =] will learn how to swim be4 fungi comes back! will go for golf on fri! =] n i will be a better student who reads in advance to e lect. e freedom n time tt i have to do things i wanna do is quite awesome =]

weekend was gd with 5-yr-old kid and our collection of marathon package. haha i must be mad whenever i say: "Yes, let's go for the full marathon." but no regrets, life would be too tiring if we consider all the pros and cons be4 making a decision. at times, you just need a little madness to do things that will make you look back and smile.
12 days left to the race. haha..i m nowhere near prepared. need to run more within this wk n allow the body to gradually rest be4 e race. compressors, mp3 are my best friends when it comes to jogging. jogging nv fails to make my day. with the sweat, you feel as thou some troubles and worries are gone with it too. =] love how running takes my mind of things.
n definitely looking forward to rdm with kid nxt wed and a race like no others nxt sun. =] 3 yr old to 5 yr old: "let's stun em!"
apart frm meeting kid, sat was also nice celebrating fungi's 21st! finally our youngest had turned 21 too. Happy 21st Fungi! weloveyou. n with this, we had officially stepped into a decade of friendship and celebrated 52 birthdays together! =] haha..it's amazing when we sit back and think about all the special occasions that we had seen each other thur. if meeting for birthdays = 52 times.. in this 10yrs, how many times had we meet to make each other day's special? treasure them and all the dear friends that make my simple day a nice one. =]
sun was a mad rush with tuitions and taking care of xiaobai. xb is YanYi meimei's dog who is under probation at moi's house now. praying for it that it will be gd n be able to stay on. =] had a new experience of bringing dogs out to ecp. haha an impromtu roadtrip with wen, moi, offie, tiger and xiaobai. it's chaotic with so many dogs. n at times such as these, babies are really much easier to handle! haha..but yups. a tiring but fun day with the dogs. =]

hello bloggy! my holidaysss is officially coming to an end in 8plus hours. 1st seminar at 1130am tml. looking forward to it..yet there's 忐忑不安，七上八下的心情。 every sem brings forward different challenges, different things to learn and grow from. =]
just blink and here i m, a year3. been through 4sems, 4 seasons. 2 champs, 2 runner up. ups n downs in studies. ups n downs in many other things.
and tada! yr 3 sem 1! here i come! jiayou fe! =D it's not gg to be a easy sem with bball n studies. calculated the amount of time i m gg to spend on trng. 5nights of minimum 2 hours trng + travelling time = around 15 to 16 hours. but it's ok. throw in all i can for basketball. quote dirk nowitzki "treat it as a game, not a job and enjoy it" a line from myself to myself : don't forget your passion for e game, fe =]

other significant events - being volunteer for yog. it felt like admin job tt i was in after A levels. but really enjoyed the experience n glad tt i could play my tiny mini part. thanks to yog, got more time to interact w fungi too. time with forever5 and best friends are really 可遇不可求. working time with fungi n chilling after work is really gd. had not spent so much time w fungi since v long le. wen was my sec1 to 4's classmate. jing was working w me after a lvls. moi is jus here everyday cz we have bball. fungi is my bus 17 kaki but sec3 n 4 n jc we were not in each other's life as often.
and both of us sadly de agree tt actually through e darkest moments of each life, we ain't able to be there for each other at e 1st moment. but no matter what, we know tt we will always have each other. *hugs*

apart frm the da da xiao xiao events during holidays, i managed to read quite a few bks =] love reading on e way to trng n all. love how books seem to reflect life and all. read nicholas sparks book. read chinese books. n e most recent one tt i finished reading is 六弄咖啡馆. sh recommended it to me. really a gd gd read! it made me laugh, made me cry. n what touch me e most was e friendship shared btw the 2 main characters. the relationship part also v touching. but what's more impactful were the friendship. it made me really thankful tt i found my true friends too. you watch my back and i watch yours and we will be alright till the end =] friendship will never end but relationship do. tt seems to be e way out for most of e stories i read. but haha..stories are stories. i shan't comment on e relationship part. but jus *thumbs ups* for their friendship and jus wanna shout out "Thank You Very Much!" to those tt should know who they are =] 朋友不需要很多。 只需要真心相对的。 =]
haha and i managed to finish one drama during this few months of holidays! tt's really quite little compared to what i usually do. but it was a gd drama - 9ends 2 outs.
*spoiler* it's abt this pair of best friends who had been best friends for 30yrs. falling in love n still loving each other but yet pushing each other to other ppl cz they do not want the f/s btw them to end, should their r/s end one day. they know each other so well that it breaks your heart to see them not tgt. realli love e show. 人生如戏，戏如人生？ i don't know how to describe. haha but while watching e show, there were many times tt i really 感同身受.those emotions tt they went through. the things tt they feel..haha
in e end, love it tt the show had a happy ending. <3 as for real life? hahaha..the ending is different. but choices made and things been through. all these experiences are things tt made me grow. i may be immature and all but i definitely had learnt n grew. thanks for teaching me that =]

haha why? coz..when u plan for some1's birthday, it's for some1 that mean a lot. it's for a special friend =] for now..the 2 parties tt i helped with are v special friends =] 1 is my best roomie and good friend that had been there for years. 2 is for my bestest best friend! one that had been here for me all these years. through all the tears and pain. one that i would consider as my 1st and bestest best friend! no1 can replace her. =]
