haha this weekend had been fulfiling and crazy.


tuition-ed my sat away and watched valentine's day with wen =]

after e movie we went to get cushions so tt we can tie on our bike seats. =P
went over to wen's house to stayover in prep for sun's bike rally.
ate my huge packet of fried rice - carbo load!
watched arsenal's game be4 we went to bed.
that was like 1plus going twd 2 in the morning.
3 hours be4 we have to wake up!

woke up at 5am.
we showered and do our last min checking (to see if we forgotten anything)
spammed sunblock and vaseline on ourselves!
n wen's dad sent us dere! =]
to begin our fun and crazy day!
let me emphasize on this - CRAZY!


our bikes!
taken in the morning when the sky is not even bright yet! =]
the bikes were good! Thankfully!
and we din use the cushions in e end =P
cz..no1 did n we din wanna be g! hah

so we set off officially at 7:08am. (wen told me to note this down)
n cycled towards our 1st destination - Labrador park. From ecp to Labrador park.
it was relatively relaxing as it was only towards the 1st checkpoint and the sun was not out. =P
we just chatted randomly and cycled relaxly. =P

next station - Labrador park to NTU.
haha i kept telling wen tt we are reaching.
BUT we ain't!
haha it was quite long and the sun was great.
but we made it!
it was still ok la ;p
just the great slopes! haha

so here we are at SRC in NTU!
haha..a pic of us in the toilet spamming more sunblock and vaseline!
n wen checking to see if offie messaged her and where's our next destination.
we grabbed a bite.
i ate one slice of bread and some drink.
rested 10mins and moved on! =]

next station - NTU to Kranji
gosh. this was great.
we cycled the whole long stretch of lim chu kang road.
haha but saw many things tt i had not n will not have the chance to see if not for this bike rally.
we past by the cementry, veg farms, fish farms, and never ending plants.
saw dead snake, rats, birds. =X
saw sungei buloh natural reserves.
gosh.
pretty sights!
never knew tt singapore have such pretty places! =]
but din manage to take loads of pics as we were constantly on the move.
afraid that there would be snakes. haha

after taking a short break at kranji..
next station - kranji to yishun stadium.
haha just keep cycling.
the sun is getting there.
reached yishun and be4 we could even rest for long..
trina told me tt if we intend to finish e race..we should quickly set off!
cz..there's a sweeping going on.
ie. if u dun reach a certain destination on time, they will take u on the bus and get u back. =X
so wen n i drank some water n chiong towards our nxt station - serangoon stadium.

it was super hot.
but it rained n stopped.
during our journey there..wen sort of injured her knee. or rather worsen.
stopped and looked back but she just kept telling me to go on.
so i reached serangoon stadium and waited for wen there.
saw xy and asked her how much more do we have.
she said 1/3.
wen almost fainted.
wanted to acc wen cz her knee.
but she knew tt i wanted to go on.
so she asked me to go on by myself and not get sweeped by the van tt's coming!
haha so i chiong.
this time is realli chiong.

nxt station - serangoon stadium to changi.
this is madness.
all by myself.
went past lorong ah soo..old tampines road to pasir ris (yes i cycled past my hse) den to changi.
the sun was so freaking big tt i wanted to die.
but my legs were going faster than i could ever imagine! =P
got lost at one pt at old tamp road.
thankfully the van came along n i told em tt i can n i wanna go on.
so the person in charge told me where to go and encouraged me.
that was much needed at that pt of time =] thanks to u!
there was also this v hyper road marshall! *thumbs up to her* =] under tt weather condition, leading us the directions and cheering us with pom pom! gd job! =]

when i cycled past my hse..i realli wanted to ask daddy or fungi to get me some cold water man! gosh.
but din la..no energy to make phone call le.
jus kept going!
convincing myself tt changi is v near.
den motivated myself w sugar cane drink.
but pi la.
no chance to get it due to the route tt they gave us! =X
finally saw ice cream uncle near e place where we can see airplane fly across.
got an ice cream for myself.
by tt time..i was already so hungry n burning.
i think there should be steam coming out. jk!
ate e ice cream within 3mins.
cycled with one hand while eating.
wen told me to blog this down..cz she can't imagine tt i could eat ice cream n cycle.
haha jus great.

finally reached changi v!
n saw wen there!
haha surprise.
i tot i would onli see her back at ecp.
she say..she took the bus and alighted here so tt we could cycle back together =]
took a quick rest and toilet break and cycled towards our final destination with wen.
haha did i mention tt my back was breaking already?
the legs and everything are ok.
it's jus the back.
haha..din care abt it.
jus cycled at a normal pace with wen.
cz by now..we noe tt we wun be swept away!
so we cycled past and saw more airplanes.

by den..e back was beyond words could describe.
is tt kind of agrh n go on moments =P
saw a sign saying that it was 10km till e end.
so we encouraged each other to go on.
but tmd.
haha you won't wanna know how much wen n i cursed all the way till the end.
it was definitely more than 10km!
we think it's twice la!
tmd. so cheated!
haha cycled till i wanna cry ok.
so finally we reached dere. ard 6pm.
officially cycled for 10++hrs.
minus the less than 30mins rest.
tired till can die.
haha we jus returned the bikes, get our goodie bag and lay there n dun move.
haha jus die.

overall..it was a fun experience.
with me considering to become a professional cyclist (at the 1st few checkpoints) till saying that i dun wanna take part in it again.
haha somethings are worth trying for once. =P
just once. lol.
saw many nice nice places.
did something fun n crazy!
now i can officially say tt i cycled from ntu back home.
to quote wen..we cycled all e "E"s - ecp,tpe,sle,pie. haha
haha n i think the bike rally had caused me to lose my appetite.
while bloggin..i had used 1.5hours to eat my lunch and i haven finish it.

started with snoozing till i got out of bed.

after which..wen jing n i jus nua-ed till ard 10pm den e other 2 came.
eat, wash up, nua, watch movie, slp.
haha n for e 1st time..
we woke up at 8am on e nxt day despite sleeping at 4plus am.
cz..we need to rush home for our tuan yuan fan! lol. we did it! =]

starting w chu xi, gg to da gu's house and helping her with some cleaning up.
dinner and back home, watching tv (bao bei ji hua) with didi =]

firstly..happy advance birthday roomie!
haha the party was a blast =P
